Hey I know this is kinda wierd but I think it would be cute if Eddie and Steve bumped into each other at a modern convention and Eddie is dressed with a tail and ears and Steve is incognito in a really expensive fursuit. And it’s nice to know they have a friend that won’t judge them for there hobbies.

Eddie, at heart, was a furry. He knew he was, and in the world he lived in, he was afraid to admit it and commit to the hobby. He was always insecure about people judging him, until one day he finally decided to go to a furry convention and meet people like him. He thought, maybe, he'd make a friend.
He walked in with only a tail on and some dog ears he'd found at Walmart, since his part-time job wasn't enough for a fursuit.
Steve on the other hand, did have enough money for that. He was anonymous under his hot and rather dirty — at least on the inside, he made sure the outside was always pristine for cons — fursuit. He was heading to a particular booth on the other side of the convention, knowing specifically where to go. He accidentally didn't see Eddie and fully just bumped into him.
"Oh, god, sorry man!" Steve says, his voice muffled from the mask.
"Oh," Eddie says, rubbing his shoulder. "It's okay, I like your suit," Eddie says shyly.
"Thanks," Steve says, taking his mask off so Eddie could hear him. Eddie was honestly shocked at how beautiful this man was. "I made it."
"Really? That must have been super expensive." Eddie says, just loud enough for Steve to hear him.
"It was," Steve says with a chuckle. He rubbed the back of his neck. "Did you come here alone? I did too, it's probably better to be with someone."
"I did. Wanna hang out?" Eddie offers.
"Yeah! Come on, I was going to this booth I come to every year..." Steve trails off, and eventually they go to every con together they can after that. They eventually even start dating too.
