TUNA & SALMON POKE SOBAHN MEAL Have you tried a poke bowl? If not, you are missing a great dish. Poke bowl is an raw fish appetiser or can be eaten as a main dish, when the raw fish is diced and served on bed of sticky rice and tossed with sesame oil and soy sauce with other veggies. I tried the Tuna and Salmon Poke Sobahn bowl at @dailysushi.in Did you guys know that Poke was originally prepared by Polynesians and was made popular as street snack by Hawaiian venders. They mostly used raw beef or Yellow tuna in poke bowls. Poke literally means ‘to cut or slice into cubes’ in Hawaiian and Sobahn means wooden plate. As Hawaii population majority is filled with Japanese and other Asian countries, this dish travelled to Japan and tossed with wasabi and seaweed to make a Japanese version. It became very popular in Korea where it was tossed to Kochujang (spicy fermented soya paste), Kimchi and Nori sheet. So, if you are looking for your Poke Bowl in Bangalore, just walk in into any branch of @dailysushi.in or order in through zomato or swiggy, and if that’s not working for you, just Dunzo it. #dailysushi #pokebowl #lovepokebowls #japanesefood #koreanfood #hawaiinpokebowl #tunafish #salmon #wheretoeatinbangalore #pokebowlbangalore (at DAILY SUSHI) https://www.instagram.com/p/CRWBNH4lK7Z/?utm_medium=tumblr
