Looming in the distance

Who doesn't know

Where to turn around,

You aren't the shade

That can never glimmer

You're not made of

A single monotonous hue

That's never bright,

You aren't an endless stretch

Of boredom that has no place

In anyone's life,

You're like the sun

Whose presence every day

Is a resource that needs

To be felt every time.

Ideal reason,

Summon into existence

A terminal lucidity

That defies the most solemn eventide

Be weighed down
