No one asked but some pre-work doodles and my own personal relationship with the digimon series.
I've been asked if I'll "ever watch the other digimon series" and I actually grew up watching them on Jetix / Disney XD! The ones I have listed I've watched at least once if not a few times over my life.
I was 8 when Digimon Data Squad aired and I made Marcus my whole personality. I would watch the same episode twice a week, would record the episodes and rewatch them, and any time I could use a computer or laptop, I'd go onto youtube so I could watch the series in three parts. I eventually learned about dub/sub and started exclusively watching Digimon Savers (I watch all the digimon series sub now anyways). I used to draw digimon on everything, and my notebooks in school always had good ole Masaru somewhere in them. Idk why I got obsessed with masaru I just did, and it's everyone's problem. For christmas this year I'm making myself a Masaru acrylic stand LMAO
My second favorite Digimon series is Adventure 02! I love Daisuke A LOT he is my baby boy I hold him in my hands. I do want to rewatch 02 and draw him more.
I also enjoy Taichi, but not as much as Daisuke. One day years ago, because I love crossovers/aus, I did imagine mashing Digimon Adventure 02 + Savers, which also resulted in me shipping Taichi and Masaru. But I still feel really awkward drawing Taichi's fucking hair what da hell am I supposed to do with that.
I do want to write a fic one day to explore that AU bc ngl I was cooking with the idea...
I tell myself I really ought watch the newer Adventure series but I just drag my feet about it. I gotta be in the right mood to start something new- what if it awakens another obsession? One of these days when I'm in the right mood...
