{ hey guys what's uuuu } - daishin | prologue | attn: sumire
Daishin blinks awake in a room alone.
This isn't particularly odd for them, as they don't have friends or even more than one person they interact with on a daily basis. By all means, they shouldn't be alarmed, and yet they feel alarms going off within them nonstop. This, they concluded within seconds, was not where they were meant to be. But more investigation was needed.
...And the flowers were nice, at least, they think, quietly standing and looking around them. The mirror only draws their wide-eyed stare for a moment before they're distracted by something on the floor.
"...Ah! I'm very sorry..."
Daishin murmurs to themself, bending down to pick it up with the utmost care. Honestly, they weren't sure how she'd slipped their grasp, but at least nothing bad had happened in that time... in fact, she seemed to be looking better than ever! They smile slightly, patting the trinket briefly before tucking her into their bag. Now, they're sure, if the mirror was working they would look much more complete. They wonder if perhaps they've become a vampire without noticing. Those are the ones that don't appear in mirrors, right? They mull it over before they promptly jump several inches at least at the noise of the door and, after looking around to make sure the... no one else in the room with them saw that, scurry out.
Immediately Daishin's face is tucked into their scarf. There are too many unfamiliar people- a few they felt they could recognize, but no one they'd met- in this room. This was terrible. They wanted to go back into solitary- in lieu of, you know, introducing themself or starting conversation, Daishin coughs into their scarf several times and turns to touch the wall where the door had been. It was a fascinating place, truly... just, they rather wished there were maybe ten less people. Twenty less. No teens for them, thank you, and especially not loud ones, which they seemed to be.
Coughing once more, they turn their head .01 degrees to glance around the sides of the room, perhaps seeking an escape route... but instead they find someone in a similar predicament, pressed up against the wall, and holding... a pen. Interesting. Their head tilts in curiosity before they're shuffling over, cutting a pitiful figure as they continue to hide in their scarf. Eventually they pause- a safe distance away from her, of course- and raise a single hand in greeting.
"Hello... I don't mean to disturb you... though I am, in fact, disturbing you... are you writing something? Or... were you perhaps intending to write something, and lack paper?" To clarify their terrible introduction, they point at the pen in her hand. "I may have some in my bag, if you wish to borrow it... for writing purposes."
This is the worst introduction anyone's ever made.
