Creepycute is a lovely neologism that I think falls short of defining Daisuke Ichiba's work, a kind of childlike drawing of a girl… drugged and institutionalized in a psychiatric hospital. As I mentioned yesterday regarding another artist, I like seeing it and that it exists, even though I wouldn't always want to have it decorating my notebook or living room, but it's… different and original.
