I've been a Yumeshipper for years now, and I Yumeship with Sora from Children of the Sea (more explainations below!) ↓

I started Yumeship with Sora 13 years ago when I first read/discovered the manga.

Back then, I was the same age as Ruka (14 years old), and I instantly fell in love with Sora in a way I couldn't explain. He was my everything and he literally changed my life.

I used to write our adventures in my journal as he (and all the other characters from the manga) were real to me. I still and will forever cherish these memories we made together.

But now I grew up and obviously, my feelings for him changed. I still deeply love Sora but in a different way. I see him as my childhood/teenage lover I've lost years ago. As the person who brings me comfort each time I remember our past adventures and interactions. As the one who forever changed my life but who is not part of it anymore...

We are forever soulbound 🌟

Sora - Children of the Sea 🐋

This is a redraw of an old drawing I made years ago (which is a scene from the manga/movie):

Also yes, I tend to draw Sora's eyes green mixed with blue. Cuz, (maybe I'm crazy), but Sora's eyes are green on the first 2 covers of the manga, right? 🤔

I've always headcanon that Sora's eyes (in the manga) are actually green (mixed with blue). His eyes only turn blue when underwater, because they reflect the color of the sea.

Kinda like Ruka's eyes in the movie:

What do you think about this theory? I personally really enjoy this headcanon about Sora 💫

I also think that maybe Daisuke Igarashi drew him with green eyes at the beginning to finally decide to draw them blue? IDK? (Or maybe I'm just crazy and his eyes have always been blue 😅).
