Daisuke is also scurrying in trash, a favorite activity of his that makes The Bird Man mad at him for some reason.
He wasn’t expecting company today. In typical cat fashion, he raises on of his widdle paws, preparing to smack the thing if he doesn’t understand what it is when it shows itself.

Daisuke had been on the trail of a feeling, something maddeningly familiar, when he’d gotten distracted by this lovely bag of chips. He loves chips, and especially chip bags. They’re nice and crinkly!
He has no hesitation in reaching in, and prepares to stuff his face in as well.

What’s happening right now is 100% a Yo-kai Watch sidequest.
Max comes across Daisuke while on his usual walk and kneels down, taking out some cat treats
"Hey, dubious little creacher, want some snacks?"
Daisuke heads straight for Max and mushes his entire face into his hand.
