I think by now I've met every sourcemate of mine. Not directly, most in passing through tumblr notes, seeing source calls by them, and seeing them send confessions here, but I've met them. I'm happy for them. They all have new lives and most seem to be in better places. I'm happy I knew all of you again, if it was just for a passing moment.

Jimmy really wasn't good to the crew (understatement of the century I know) but I don't think I'll ever fully shut him out. I always see people sad when their sourcemates avoid them or want nothing to do with them, and I don't really want to leave someone feeling like that, this new life is lonely and scary usually after all. I don't know if I'll ever see him again, but my door will always be open for him if I do!

Yaknow. Despite his very, stupidly obvious flaws; I really do miss Captain. He'd probably have a thing about me calling him "captain" now, seeing as. I mean, he's not actually my captain now? But calling him "Curly" or "Grant" feels weird. Just, like; All I've ever really known him as is "Captain Curly". It's weird! Reading this really good fanfic. A timejump fix-it type of one. It's nice. Indulgent, I guess. I dunno where I'm going with this.
