꣑ৎ daisy has always received a great deal of attention from boys, and she accepts it, always willing for new friends. a little bit oblivious, she has a hard time picking up on when someone's flirting...until her boyfriend swoops in and gently removes her from the situation

꣑ৎ daisy loves music more than anything in the world. she sings and plays the piano as a result of her fancy education, but it stuck with her long after she learned

꣑ৎ she loves fashion and pretty dresses and shoes. shopping is one of her favorite hobbies, and she'll bring her boyfriend with her sometimes to carry her bags

꣑ৎ when she gets upset, she'll overindulge: drink too much, spend more money than she should have. sometimes, she doesn't feel like she can really talk to anyone, like they'll turn her away for being upset

꣑ৎ as her name suggests, she loves flowers and she always keeps them around her. even after they're dried up, she'll keep them in the vase because she hates throwing things away

꣑ৎ daisy has always dreamt of her wedding, planned it down to every detail, but sometimes she wonders if she really wants to get married, or if she just wants to have a party and wear a pretty dress

꣑ৎ she gets fidgety and anxious often, even when she's at home, and developed a bad habit of picking at her skin. whenever she does this, her boyfriend will carefully find something else for her to hold, even if it means she's braiding his hair instead

꣑ৎ she'll disappear sometimes when she gets too overwhelmed, just to have a moment for herself and calm before going back to wherever she was before full force

꣑ৎ when she's angry it usually ends in tears, and she doesn't get angry too often. usually it's because she's mad at herself for something she said or did

꣑ৎ daisy's love language is absolutely physical touch, both giving and receiving. she loves when her boyfriend wants to cuddle with her, or even little gestures like taking her hand in public or keeping an arm around her waist

Pt ii, to I never stopped falling for you.

summary: It's a truth universally acknowledged that you and Clark were probably always going to end up together. Even through his self-sacrificing sabotage, wretched martyr complex, and crippling (non-sensical) fear of losing you, the two of you managed it. A cancelled wedding to a sorry-placeholder and twenty years of longing later, you're together. Clark worships at the altar of you. In your eyes, he's an infallible god. It's some kind of warped religion, this devotion you share. Yet, even still, Clark's habits of keeping you at an arm's length stay haunting the corners of your mind and sharped apartment; amongst other patterns—like the litany of wounds he returns to you with almost every night, and this odd, disconcerting line between you that doesn't quite know where the lifelong best friend string starts and this new boyfriend/girlfriend situation ends. The pair of you can only hope that love's enough.

content warnings: Angst, again. More of Clark's self-sabotaging, poor communication, but he loves you lots. Strong language, smut, still yearning (even though you're together now), a lot of grovelling, Clark's still and forever a munch, edging..., switch!Clark truther, teasing, sexual tension, you may want to throttle Clark, fuck him, and also marry him. heyyy!! this is the fifth ask ive got about a sequel - so im guessing that’s my next write…? but honestly, what would you like to see in this potential sequel? a lot of you have said that daisy!reader forgave clark too easily/too soon…so more grovelling?? flashbacks maybe? more of his internal monologue??
