Triple threat art trade with the lovely @daisybrien ♡ Lots of flowers, lots of symbolism~
(Marlow, Daisy, and Alex are from "The Devil's Engine", "The Fury", and the "Escape From Furnace" series, all by Alexander Gordon Smith)
Doing this was fun, and given that we have One superpowered child plus two people who specialize in kidnapping superpowered children, I kind of had to do this theme
So I had a lot of fun drawing the Demonata main characters in masks that I wanted to do another set of characters wearings masks, and right now I’m currently reading The Fury written bu Alexandar Gordon Smith (good book, so far) and have them in masks.
From left to right:
Daisy Brien wearing a mask with a carousel
Callum wearing a mask with the Dr. Pepper logo on it
and Brick who is obvisously wearing a mask with a brick design on it.
Both Daisy and Callum’s design were inspired by @soledadcatalina
Hope you guys like it. And remember if you go out in public please wear a mask.
I just realized that the Pokémon world probably has a pikachu emoji and we don’t and frankly that’s just not fair.
Daisy Brien, probably.
fandom aesthetics - daisy brien; the fury
Daisy laughed, her angel laughed, the sound of it blasting away the last of the smoke. This time, even the vacuum of space permitted it, the sound echoing in her ears. It had never heard laughter. All the way out here there was only absence. This place, the emptiness between the stars, was what he liked, the man in the storm. He wanted to wipe everything else away so this was all that was left.
Well, she wouldn’t let him, she wouldn’t. She would fill it all up with laughter.
Daisy: So no matter how shallow and self-absorbed you pretend to be—
Rilke: Excuse me, there's no pretense here. I happen to be genuinely self-absorbed and deeply shallow.
Daisy: Revenge is a waste of time.
Rilke: So is watching TV and eating candy. You do it because it feels good.
