Moon 174-Leaf-fall
With leaf-fall starting, the leaf-bare may prove to be a rough one if the senior Healers can’t recover. Fennelpaw (10) is a little embarrassed that her stomach ache has progressed into diarrhea. It feels wrong to talk to her brothers about her dirt. But Asterpaw (10), as non-squeamish as ever, tells her to make sure she keeps drinking water. The stress has gotten to Asterpaw though, and he’s developed a minor running nose. Hopefully it won’t turn into whitecough or greencough. With so many cats sick, Creekstar (28) has decided to make Daisypaw (15) a warrior. She worries that the young cat’s nerves may cost her life in battle, but she gives her the name of Daisyfreeze, honoring her logic. Fry (81) is also a little worried about his granddaughter, as he heard a rumor that she doesn’t want to fight anything. That won’t go over well in a warrior. Brightfern (16) has been trying to get to know her father’s other relatives and decides to share prey with Rustsong (43), her sister-in-law. Meanwhile, her nephew (Finchbelly-15) is telling embarrassing stories about when Fennelpaw was a kit. She’s already embarrassed enough about her diarrhea as it is! Daisyfreeze hopes she gets to patrol with Primcrest (16) soon-she feels safe with the dark-cursed cat around. It’s nice knowing she can kill any enemies they encounter. Marshdapple (65), being new to the Clan and being cared for by two apprentices, doubts their skill. Asterpaw bristles after being scolded by her. Goldenkit (4) is jealous of the attention Fennelpaw has been getting lately. Why can’t her mom pay more attention to her! Marshdapple is glad that she and Sleepyfoot (40) are in the nursery together. She thinks the other mother is very admirable. And she can help with the health issues Tornkit (1) is developing. It turns out that he is paralyzed. That hasn’t stopped him from sparring with Chervilcry (153) though! One of Marshdapple’s other kits, Lightkit (1), doesn’t understand why Poolpaw (10) won’t play with him. He’s always around camp. And busy caring for sick cats.
