How’s your OC’s mastery over their UM? Can they cast it reliably or do they still struggle with consistency? Are they happy to share its effects with others or do they have a reason for keeping it secret?
He's still a first year, so (outside of the lil Freak of Nature, Riddle who mastered his at 10) he's about in the same standing as his classmates, in that he's just getting the hang of it. It was close to mid/late first semester when it even first manifested.
The question isn't so much reliability in being able to cast it, so much as controlling the effects. His UM: 'Fathoms Below' allows him to emit subsonic sound, which at different frequencies has different effects. (from Anxious/fearful, to outright nausea and organ vibration) So with that said, he doesn't like to have to use it, but he makes no secret of it, mostly cause it's either he can spook somebody off/diffuse a situation or he has to resort to fists. and he doesn't wanna have to do that.
It's gotta be a trick of fate that I've just recently been thinking about my DR OCs again when I see you have one too 🙀
(also kazuichi appreciators unite 💖🦈🛠)
XBDISNSK I actually have three! LMAO
I'm ridiculously self indulgent, there's no way I could have gotten away with only making one
But also YESS!! I've actually been hearing from a couple people who have seen my ocs and gone "oh man you're making me think of my old Danganronpa ocs" or "I was actually just thinking about doing something with my old Danganronpa ocs" like YEESSSS!! Embrace those ocs!!
Honestly I love fan ocs and self insert characters and stuff so much, it's just someone having so much fun and I'm like YES TELL ME ALL ABOUT IT
I too would like the Copper route!! What gifts could you give, or what actions could you take, to get that good ending? There are so many important choices to make in a dating sim after all.
OOOOH THANK YOU! I am excited to really write this one out as a result, thank you for asking the specific questions!
The prompt
ROUTE UNLOCK
There are two stages to this. Unlocking the chance to become Copper's ally or his friend will be early on. Chances of encountering him at random in NRC are very low, but not impossible. If you want to ensure you meet him, the best places to look are: outside on the grounds during Track & Field meets/practices, down at the lake below NRC on the weekends, or in the library during the afternoons where he sits at one of the tables while doing extra catch-up work.
Encountering him in one of these places will trigger small talk dialogue. Avoid choosing dialogue options that remark on his behavior being weird or his appearance being effeminate, as these will put him on guard and make him less likely to regard you in a positive light.
Positive interactions in early dialogue will prompt you with the option to help Copper with his coursework. Offering this will be met with grateful acceptance and make him friendlier towards you. Helping him out with the work at least twice will make him more likely to seek you out for interaction as well.
Unlocking the romance option will happen later if you have spoken with Vil, Rook and Epel about him at least once.
ROMANCING COPPER
Bring this boy food. My gosh, bring him food. Prior to Crowley's insistence that he be at NRC to keep an eye on him generously offering Copper a free scholarship, Copper was malnourished and grew up with food insecurity due to the whims of his kidnapper/abuser. While he's recovering well, gifts of food, shared lunches and snacks still go a long way with him. If you've made it yourself, even better; no matter your skill level, the fact you made that food with the intention of giving it to him says a LOT.
Visit the lake frequently where his pirate ship rests. Pay careful respect to the ship and her undead crew when you visit. If the ship accepts you, this will bump up your affection level with Copper fast.
Same goes for showing affection to Jackie the monkey. He's a cursed, wily little beast, but Copper inherited him with the ship, and Jackie is his close companion. Offer Jackie apples or other treats, offer to let him climb on you or offer to pet him, and this will also raise Copper's affection level.
KEY MOMENTS
At half-full affection, Copper will unofficially invite you on a vaguely-defined "adventure" aboard the pirate ship. Refusing this will not drop affection, and Copper will recognize being that obtuse isn't helpful. When he approaches you the second time however, and gives details that he'd like you to help him go hunting for an unusual compass of myth that never points North, you need to accept. [Refusal at this stage will drop the romance route; he will approach you a third time, and if you refuse then, you will lose the friend/ally route and receive the Neutral Ending if you've done everything else right up to that point.] Accepting the second time will ensure you stay on track to one of the Good Endings.
Once you've accepted the offer of adventure, you'll be asked to wait until he can find the perfect opportunity to make it happen. Continue your visits in the meantime.
Continuing visits will raise your affection level and, prior to him telling you when you're going on the adventure, he will ask you (during a visit aboard the ship,) if he can talk to you about something personal and heavy.
Agreeing to talk will lead to Copper disclosing his backstory (even if he tries to downplay the details of what he's been through,) as well as his continued anxiety and fears surrounding Mr. Stone potentially showing back up to NRC for any reason. Talk through it with him. Avoid dialogue options that offer continual "I'm sorry"s and nothing else. Offering that comfort will prevent your affection level from dropping below where it's at for the rest of the game.
From there, the romance route will be dependent on your continued shows of support, seeking him out for company, accepting his company when he seeks you out, and of course accepting when he asks you to go on the adventure with him.
The adventure does take you away from Sage Island by ship (though not too far,) to a smaller unnamed island to search for clues about this mysterious compass. While you won't find the compass itself, you will learn upon your return to Sage Island that Mr. Stone has shown up and is looking for Copper. Here's where your ending options split again.
Offering to find another way to sneak back into NRC and avoid seeing Mr. Stone entirely will receive the Friendship Ending.
Offering to confront Mr. Stone together will receive the Romance Ending.
Offering to confront Mr. Stone yourself while giving Copper the option to sneak away to safety will receive the Ally Ending.
All of these are technically Good Endings, but they will change a key minute detail with what happens next. At the end of the route, Copper will approach you, asking you to make a braid in his hair. He will explain the significance of this is that he wants a means to keep the people he values close to him, even when they're not physically present.
The Ally Ending will not result in being given an object to weave into the braid, and he will tell you that you have proven yourself a trusted ally he plans to rely on in the future.
The Friendship Ending will see you being given a tiny object, most likely a bead or a coin, to weave into the braid, and Copper will tell you that you are a true friend and he hopes you'll continue to grow and go on adventures with him.
The Romance Ending will have Copper offering you a red thread to weave into the braid, and a flustered but happy admission that he likes you, and asking if you'll accept the red thread as a symbol of going out with him.
Thank you again for asking, this was fun to outline! (Could I have probably been more detailed? Probably, but I hope this works!)
Hello! @twst-the-night-away here on main. May I request Ace and my OC Violetta in the V3 pose, with Ace on the left and Violetta on the right? The pose is ... very Them.
Refering to the Valentine’s Day requests.
Thanks for the ask! C: And of course you can~ This was a fun pose to draw, I took it as "accidental kissing" 🤭 Also, Violetta is so cute 💕 Once again, I did a coloured doodle. Here you go! I hope I did them justice~
Commissions are open, check out my pinnned post if you’re interested~
🍓: Yuuki likes the smell of fresh-cut flowers and fresh fruit, particularly watermelon, but she does not like the smell of pineapple. It makes her nauseous.
🍍: Yuuki likes being in places that aren't too enclosed, like in the Mostro Lounge as long as Floyd keeps her company. She feels like she's actually sitting in the ocean when she's there. She also likes to hang around Savanaclaw because she likes the exotic-feeling atmosphere (and not just because Leona is there and she can sketch his handsome face).
11. Do they have nicknames for each other? Do they say them around other people or only in private? Where did the nicknames originate? What do they mean?

Nicknames...hmm...
Al: Calls Azul Love 'cause he's a Fantasy!Brit, he can't help it 😩For Jade, Dear gets used. But note: the three I can't fully see using nicknames/pet names outside of the house, and even then it's a mix of just their names and nickname. Al DEFINITELY uses it when he wants to have his partner focus on something he's saying, especially if said in a particular way.
Azul: I'm actually kinda hard pressed to think of a nickname he'd give someone like Jade, and unfortunately I am one of those in the camp of 'Azul calls his partner Angelfish'. Though, with Al, he tends to use it either in instances he wants something, or as a way to soften an upcoming bad news/warning/etc.
Jade: At most, I can see him using Dear for either of them. It's the creative ones you have to watch for. Its usually a precursor to either him winding up for Mischief, be it just trying to fluster the other two in public or (like Azul) as a warning on a transgression he thinks the other committed. It's their hint they need to backtrack. "Darling, My Autumn Breeze, you don't happen to remember when you went to bed last night, do you?" ... "This long to think of an answer? Do I need to install timer locks on the computer?"
