So I've been listening to One Ok Rock's old songs because their new album came out a month ago but I suck at keeping up with stuff so below, I have a Danami photo because I was torn between using "Vandalize" and "Save Yourself", but I still wanted to post the "Save Yourself" version. Along with their flat colors as well!

Also, their song "Liar" is so Daito-coded and I can see that being the song that plays in the background against a fight between him and Watami. I also think "Party's Over" would be something he'd listen to as well-

So outlined that Jaci drawing I made and did some extra thing with colored pencils AND THEN I WATERCOLORED THE DAITO DRAWING I MADE and wanted to do, like, a little visual storytelling for his side AND I'M AFRAID I COOKED- And then the full spread at the bottom!

Consider this idea: Troy and Daito being friends.

They meet when they both hear of a powerful artifact hidden in a temple in China that can help them beat Watami/Chase so they go and venture to it and when they meet, they obviously fight over it but once they realize that their goals are similarly aligned, they devise a plan and stuff. But like, the moment Troy turns around to walk out of the temple with him, Daito immediately tries to steal his Chi but maybe the Four Beasts just kinda protecting it because 1. They need him to stay alive and 2. SINCE THEIR CREATURES OF CHAOS AND DESTRUCTION, IMAGINE TAKING THEIR CHI HURTS DAITO. But Daito just being confused and Troy is all: "Seriously, man? We didn't even leave the temple before you tried to backstab me!"

But yeah, them luring Chase and Watami because maybe Daito stole Elazar's chi so Chase contacted Watami and Watami signs to her like: "Why would Daito want to target Elazar?" and then Daito attacks Watami and Chase blocks him and she's all: "Friend of yours?" and Watami smiles but notices something trying to attack Chase and she blocks it and Troy is all: "WELCOME, LADIES." and Daito looks at him and raises an eyebrow: "Seriously? That's what you landed on?"

Troy: "I HAD SOMETHING REALLY COOL BUT I FORGOT IT, OKAY? Let's just destroy them."

and like, they just have this weird friendship and stuff because Daito training Troy to use his guandao and Troy just using HALT resources to cover up any failed crimes or whatever and Lisa didn't like it but she supposes that since he is training Troy, it's a fair deal. And Troy is all: "What's the worst that can happen?"

Iwazaru: "Doesn't he steal the chi of people who fail him?"

Troy: "Well, yeah, but he can't steal my chi."

Lisa: "He can probably still kick your ass."

Troy: "I have the beasts!"

Taotie: "No you do not."

Hundun: "We will be cheering him on."

Troy: "Thanks guys."
