how did you like being a park greeter at dak?
Hiya Anon! Being a Park Greeter at DAK was the most amazing experience I could’ve ever asked for. The full time cast members there are some of the nicest people on the planet. Always treated me like I was their daughter or granddaughter. And the coordinators and managers were always helpful and understanding and always tried their best to help in whatever way they could. I was deployed to Hollywood Studios for two months and sure the cast there were nice but they weren’t as inviting or warm or friendly as DAK. I always felt like I was an outsider because I had come from another park. At DAK, even though I was a park greeter i was also crossed trained for Auto Plaza which opened up a whole other world for me. You meet more people and you learn more about your park. And the cool thing about DAK’s main entrance area is that we all pretty much share one big breakroom. So not only do the PGs come into this break room but so do the guest relations cast members, the merchandise/strollers cast, the custodial cast, the parking cast, fast pass+, disney security, wilderness explorers, at night we have the disney bus drivers, and occasionally entertainment cast as well. So we have this huge break room full of awesome cast from all over the main entrance which is a blast. Being a park greeter is essentially the easiest role to have it just gets repetitive and some days feel like they’ll never end. but on the bright side, DAK is normally the first park to close so even if you’re one of the closing cast members you’ll rarely leave after 11PM which is always nice! If you have anymore questions feel free to ask! :D
