49 "Well this is awkward…" - Tox, Rhi & Dakota :3

49. “Well this is awkward…”

Tox, Rhi and Dakota; ages: 46, 45 and 45.

Tox held both of his wives’ hands as they entered their house. Since they had their first children, the three of them set aside one day a week for a date night. They would go out for dinner and a movie or simply for a picnic in the park. But it was their together time. Time to reconnect and be without their six hormone ridden teenagers. Tox tilted his head as he caught the sound of soft music coming from upstairs. Figuring that one of the girls was in a mood, as his wives called it. Meaning period stuff. Tox shuddered then made his way upstairs to check on the kids. Stopping at Finnegan’s room, he knocked then pushed the door open. A choked gasp left Tox’s lips as he found his son with his face between a brunette’s legs. “Well this is awkward…” Tox coughed out and slammed the door shut as he heard a squeak from the girl and a curse from his son. That imagine was going to be forever burned into his retinas.

41. “You did all of this for me?”

Tox, Rhi and Dakota; ages: 27, 26, and 26

Tox placed his hands on the small of both of his wives’ backs. He had blindfolded them and driven them all out to a secret location. With three kids and a fourth on the way, Tox wanted to do something to show his girls that he was still in love with them and that they were two of the most important people in his life. He stopped them and smiled, “I love you both.” The girls smiled and squeezed each others hand and said “I love you too” at the same time. Sometimes they were more like twins than lovers. Tox chuckled softly and slowly untied the blindfolds, “Keep your eyes closed until I say so.” The girls nodded and giggled. They were excited for the surprise. “1….2….3.” Rhiannon and Dakota opened their eyes and took in the sight in front of them. Tox had gone all out. A picnic blanket set up with a basket near the lake that they frequently visited with the kids, the stars brighter than back in the suburbs and soft music playing from a small ipod home. “You did all of this for me?” Rhi and Dakota whispered at the same time as they stared at Tox. He shrugged shyly and a slight blush covered his cheeks. “Well, yeah…. do you like it?” The girls smiled and proceeded to show him how much they liked it.
