This place is situated behind 'Dalada Maligawa' (The Temple of Sacred Tooth Relic). It was used as a royal forest park for the royal family. Nowadays it has named as a sanctuary due to its natural and archeological values. The thing is, this place is not very recommended for average travellers, since there is not much interesting things to see. But the place is so calm and good for a long walk. And the city view point has a nice view. But for real a nature lover this place have a lot to offer, like giant bamboo, giant liana, etc. It has a rich floral diversity, but not much of animal diversity.
