what if alaric lives until he’s like 95-100 years old only because he wants to see elena one last time and then she comes back and he sees her and they spend the day all together with damon and maybe even jeremy if he’s still alive and the others and alaric is so old and he can barely walk or talk but you can still see he’s so happy and then at night he goes to sleep and just never wakes up again but it’s okay because he only wanted to see her one more time and he wanted to make sure she’s okay and she’ll get to live her life happy with damon and make all her dreams come true and now that he knows that he can go in peace
