The Squad's Identities (for fun)

Dalia (She/Her): Cis woman, sapphic, frayromantic, asexual

Dalia, being someone who's learned essentially all subjects, while still having an intense love and reverence for learning, finds herself only really able to study individual people, to learn something new. She knows everything about general concepts, but individuals are treasure troves of personal history, experience, and situations. While this can manifest in researching historical figures, I believe Dalia also can become hyper-attached and invested when meeting a new person. This connects greatly to her frayromanticism because I imagine she'd romanticize a person in her curiosity, but then realize that she doesn't have any actual attraction to them. (Dalia will be hyped when she learns about xenogenders though)

Ellis (They/Them): Nonbinary, apothiromantic, homosexual

Ellis's trans-ness is a big part of their character, because their whole deal is that they're unsatisfied that some people in life are born with power and abilities that they don't have, but their goal is to transform themself, despite how they were born, into someone more powerful and in control of their destiny. (Also they are HIGHkey a control freak, so no way they're letting someone else assign their gender)

Kilim (Kilim, It/Its): Intersex, agender, gyneromantic, acejump, bisexual

While Kilim is a werebug (scorpion to be exact), and its biology is already altered by that, Kilim is still intersex just . . . . because. Since Kilim had been alone most of its life, I don't think it grew up with a concept of gender, and I don't think Kilim would ever need to worry about that too much, because of course a bunch of village people are gonna call the "local beast" an it; however it sticks even after the people of Kilim's old village except them, and I think it is okay with this. If Kilim ever got a comprehensive understanding of genders, I think it'd still prefer being not associated with any of them.

Ivy (She/???): Demiwomanflux (she doesn't know this), bisexual

BREAKING NEWS! In a not so shocking development, the spider-themed vigilantes who have left New York in terror since their sporadic public appearances, had been brought into custody just this morning for a museum break in. Two of the costumed menaces were actually arrested, but were broken out, assumedly by their accomplice. Nothing was stolen, as police arrived on the scene promptly after the alarm was triggered. This new angle worries New York's authorities. Previously, when only the "Golden Orb Reader" had been publicly spotted, they had been seen stalking around schools and libraries, that were soon to close. Then her 2 other cronies had been reported to be attacking individuals at night, with no seeming connection. We may not know their motives, but know this, until they're caught for good, this city will never no peace.

All of their names were initially nicknames given to them by the news circuit. Dalia didn't care about a name so she decided to let them say whatever, Kilim is just as neutral, and Ivy has fully embraced the term menace, using it even when not in costume.
