With this homemade BBQ sauce, you can get the strong and sour taste of Dallas. It gives your favorite foods a Texas twist and is great for grilling or dipping.
Ingredients: 1 cup ketchup. 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar. 1/4 cup brown sugar. 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce. 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard. 1 tablespoon chili powder. 1 teaspoon garlic powder. 1 teaspoon onion powder. 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper. Salt and black pepper to taste.
Instructions: Over medium-low heat, mix ketchup, apple cider vinegar, and brown sugar in a medium-sized saucepan. Cayenne pepper, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce should all be mixed in. Once the mixture starts to simmer, turn down the heat to low and let it cook for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring every now and then. To taste, add salt and black pepper. If you want, you can change how spicy it is. Take the Dallas BBQ Sauce off the heat and let it cool down before you use it or store it. For a delicious Dallas-style flavor, brush the sauce on grilled meats in the last 10 minutes of cooking.
