Hey guys. How's it going? So as primissed, I'mn coming back to this FireWater X.O. 12yo Infinity blend 😊 And I'm sharing tasting notes this time as well! 😜. . Just to recap, the blend contains: 30% Balvenie 12yo Double Wood, 30% Glenlivet 15yo, 20% Aberlour 12yo (the non-chill filtered version) and 20% Dalmore 12yo, so all on the sherry side of things 😄. . Alright, so here are my tasting notes: . Nose: Rich fruit notes, plumbs, oranges, apple cinnamon, vanilla biscuit but also a bit floral like rose petals. . Palate: Woody, cinnamon and nutmeg, red apples, sweet fruit, caramel, coffee, marzipan and citrus and a hint of almond. . Finish: Medium to long, dry, with notes of wood, apples, vanilla cinnamon and orange, maybe ginger. . Color: Amber. . I quite like it, not only because I blended it 😄 but because the whiskies chosen here not only have a common profile, meaning they share a few notes, but they also complement each other quite well I would say 😉. All in all, I think this is a success 😉 What do you guys think? 🙂.
