minjun hated saying goodbye to those that he loved when he had to leave for the battlefield, if he had his way he’d skip them out all together and get on with it. like ripping off a bandaid. anything was better than the sullen looks his family and close friends gave him. but it was just part of the job, something that by now was something minjun frequently, though that didnt mean it got any easier each time he had to part.
so it seemed only fitting that this time round, instead of just saying goodbye to his very close friend he was bringing him a rather fitting gift ( at least he hoped that it was ) to remember him. there was a smile from ear to ear as he climbed down off his horse, with a large box that now resided in his hands.
he hopes that noeul would like it, or at least appreciate the gift that he was giving to him. taking in a deep breath, he smiles to all the people that fuss over the new arrival at the parks residence. he’d visited many times, but he still managed to cause a few words here and there among the people that looked after the parks and their residence. it wasnt anything like the palace but at least they had a few maids working for them.
minjun’s face lights up when he catches a glimpse of the man he was there to see. coughing to clear his throat before he calls out “you greeting me in person right away? what did i ever do to deserve this noeul-ah.” his smile widening “i brought you a gift.”
