1. What made you ship it?- idk what EXACTLY but I remember in a stream before the show first started Dana drew an angry Amity w a small Luz in the corner and man. I have not been the same sense. Also I called that shit before the show even started (there is something wrong w me probably) Also the enemies to friends to lovers trope.

2. What are your favorite things about the ship?- hrm. I absolutely adore their first crush/first relationship dynamics! They're v cute! And also the aforementioned trope lol

3. Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?- they're still not as good as catradora </3

💎- What was your favorite part?

Towards the beginning when they are opening up to each other, in particular the part when elphie is talking about why she doesn’t like make up and G is all :’’(( :0, because I feel like it really came out in writing how I saw it in my head. Also the actual make up scene later on because I loveeeee writing that asmr shit always

📈- Was there a clear character arc you wanted____ character to go on?

Yeah, from being a bit judgemental about others and defensive of herself -> more open minded and genuinely comfortable. I hope it came through lol  

💡-What was the motivation behind the story?

it’s completely driven by the fact that no bog-standard piney getting-together fic exists for zutaraang :D I need a fic like this for all my fav non-canon-future ships to absorb into headcanon and I guess I have to do it myself this time

@dalpuri thank you so much for saying this, it helps a lot. I wrote a more thoughtful response but tumblr ate it. But in a nutshell I said that even though Sense8 has racist and homophobic execution with its characters, this does not negate fandom's power to control how much that racism/homophobia affects the characters and their narrative and emotional power, not just in their respective stories but to us as humans. As a white person I know I need to always be aware of racism and educate myself and others (when I should) about how pervasive and harmful it is. But at the same time I think it's important to value the power that fandom gives us against racism and other types of bigotry in media.

favorite thing about them: sjw queen  She has very admirable and very not-admirable traits that are different extensions of the same thing (I wrote this about katara too its just something i love?? ofc the contexts are way different and more murder-y/terrifying/militant but there is def a category of elite female characters that set the soul on fire). the way she grapples with how she’s given her life to something that might not be what she thought it was towards the end🙌 

least favorite thing about them: I can’t think of any? I truly stan this show lol. I wish that you got to go into her head as much as philip’s at certain points 

favorite line: every single domestic fight (or someone else she personally knows like Claudia). I liveeeee for her threatening/bitching at her husband/kids that shit gets my heart racing with the family dynamics and the geopolitical parallels
