Obsessed with this scene because this idea is exactly why it's a recurrent thing pre ts that people believe Zoro is the captain of the crew. He fights to protect, a protector through power as I said before, and because Luffy isn't the idea people have of a pirate captain, people think there's some confusion.

Opla hasn't made a direct reference to this yet, but some people caught up that, in Zoro's folder in Little Garden, is written that they believe him to be the true captain.

crocus, igaram, roger, and especially dalton need more credit for opla 2 because those actors and costumes? sheer perfection. the way they /didn’t/ stick out like a sore thumb tells us how they managed to blend into the universe naturally, brought in balance, and aced it almost too well. which is not easy knowing how deliciously wacky and weird one piece is. dalton/tyrone keogh is absolutely among the top 10 OPLA acting performances, he made this shit look easy.
