6 – Dalya

This shot feels like a significantly regression from Dalya, and reminds me of her first two weeks. Dalya has managed to at least make the clothes look good, but she hasn’t done much more. Her body feels very basic, and the expression feels like a basic model fierce shot. It is resting on pretty. As I said earlier though, I was disappointed pretty much across the board, but seeing someone go home feels wrong. Dalya had shown a bit of growth, and had a beautiful look, but if someone had to go, I feel like she was one of the acceptable choices. I don’t think she would have lasted much longer even with another chance.

1 – Dalya

What a redemption from Dalya, after two weeks of questionable shots, she produces this mesmerising photo. As I said with Jaclyn’s shot, the two of them have worked so beautifully together, creating something that genuinely feels like a piece of art. It has a level of whimsy that is just missing from the other shots this week. Dalya gets the top spot though as I just find myself drawn to her more, it is pretty equal between them in reality and I fully understand other preferring Jaclyn. I live the direct eye contact with the Camera, and that level of intensity of the stare. Even with the camera glare, I instantly connect with her face. The pose feels elegant too, and perfectly showcases the dramatic gown. All in all it just such a sensational photo.

9 – Dalya

I fully understand why this was in the bottom 2, as everyone else this week was trying harder to model successfully in their photos, but I think the end product is pretty solid. The expression in the eyes can really take down photos, as it either doesn’t fit or gives you nothing, so when you just have them closed…I mean it is hard to go that wrong. This shot just feels calm and tranquil. Unfortunately, that isn’t a choice Dalya made, it was kind of a requirement as obviously she couldn’t successfully do it without closing her eyes. Can’t reward her for that. There are positives though, her skin and bone structure shine, the product looks brilliant, and I like the slight tension in the body. Not a huge fan of the slight visibility of teeth, but outside of the eyes that is my only real concern. This shot just doesn’t really show whether Dalya can model, it just shows she is beautiful.

9 – Dalya

I am still a sucker for shots in profile, and that is why Dalya is still probably so high. In a week as close as this, that really is enough to buy her a few spots. Absolutely stunning face this week, the slightly hooded eyes are to die for, and her jawline is flawless. As for the entire shot, it nails that candid element of the shoot without being boring. My only slight issue with the shot is that those above it immediately sell me something. With this I am not really sure it stands on its own as a shot. As part of a larger fashion spread? Sure. But it doesn’t have enough fashion to stand on its own two feet.
