         it’s  fair  to  say  she’s  a  little  stunned.  this  sounds  like  something  out  of  her  mom’s  therapist’s  mouth  &  she’s  pleasantly  surprised  to  hear  her  best  friend  demolish  the  concept  of  codependency  in  one  fell  swoop  –––––  “  i  know  that.  ”  but  she  can’t  say  that  her  pre-therapy  going  mom  didn’t  scar  her  a  little  as  far  as  the  way  she  views  relationships  goes.  there’s  always  a  part  of  her  that  believes  she’s  being  kept  around  because  of  what  she  can  do  for  someone.  because  of  her  giving  nature  &  nothing  more.  she  knows  it’s  not  true.  but  when  her  insecurities  pry,  this  one  sits  at  the  forefront  of  her  mind.  the  friendships  she’s  built,  her  relationship,  they  don’t  count  here.  she’s  found  some  great  people  to  have  in  her  life.  but  she’s  allowed  to  have  an  intrusive  thought  or  two  every  now  &  again.  “  i  feel  the  same.  ”   &  she  wouldn’t  trade  yasmine  for  the  world.  “  thanks,  yas...  i  needed  to  hear  that.  ”
