Ok, I am queer, and I have had qp relationships, and it is NOT just your "super best friend". The word queerplatonic exists because there ISN'T a word for the relationship described. It is MORE than best friends. It's just distinctly not romantic.
what makes gay people inherently more capable of experiencing a higher degree of friendship?
what makes trans people inherently more capable of experiencing a higher degree of friendship?
and if sexuality or gender have nothing to do with 'queerplatonic' and all humans have equal levels of theoretical emotional experience, then are we really at a point in time where cis heterosexual people can reclaim the slur 'queer'
if you're ready to welcome cis heterosexual people into the slur 'queer', then that's your own interpretation of the concept but i strenuously disagree with it
