I'm very sorry for not being on this blog anymore, but the truth is that young Root isn't really appealing to me nowadays. So, what I've decided to do, is not delete the blog just yet, but to put it as inactive for the next couple of months.

Rosalind simply couldn’t help it. The world and all it’s inhabitants were too fascinating not to as questions. “That’s good. One ought to like their job.”

"Are you kidding me? There's no other job out there that could suit me," Root chuckled, hands on his hips. "What about you, eh? You got a job?"

[knockoutsapprentice]

"Yeah, me too. If I get picked up out here, were both scrap."

"We? Don't drag me into this." He sighed, scratching the back of his neck. "I'm gonna get us outta here."

[knockoutsapprentice]

"Im sorry!"

[captain-shouty--inactive]

He gulps down a breath. "Sorry. I'm just--on edge."

[knockoutsapprentice]

It was silent for a moment.

"Did I scare you?"

[captain-shouty--inactive]

His face is suddenly a violet hue.

"Yes! You did!"

[knockoutsapprentice]

"Fragging pit-spawned invention." That one was is clear English, the feminine voice amplified by the radio.

He jumps back, swearing with a deep and clear "D'Arvit!" Root regains his composure, sighs exasperatedly, and rubs a hand on his forehead.

[knockoutsapprentice]

Several swears were heard, though unintelligible because of the unknown language- it was obvious that they were swears-. There was a tinkling sound as a small robotic spider- like creature appeared, ignoring you and scanning the damaged component. A series of small twitter- like squeaks are emitted as it disappears inside again.

What in Frond's name is that? Julius couldn't believe he couldn't understand the language--though it was probably best that he didn't. And what was that metal robot? It definitely wasn't one of Foaly's.

"So this is your job, yes? More or less, going out and firing these things, right? Is it fun? Do you like it?" The witch asked, curiously.

She certainly asks a lot of questions. "Yes, this is my job. Sometimes, it's fun; other times, it's a pain in the neck. But I suppose I do like it."

[knockoutsapprentice]

A sudden plume of smoke rises from under the hood of the car as it clicks open on its own revealing far more advanced technology that first believed. An overloaded relay is the cause of the smoke.

At last, Julius braved himself and tentatively stepped towards the car. That technology couldn't possibly be human, but its unfamiliar complexity couldn't be fairy either--could it? A hand cupped around his mouth and nose to avoid breathing in the smoke.

[knockoutsapprentice]

Freezing, she looks up and suddenly flickers out of existence with a flash.

What?

She just disappeared. How? Julius almost took a step towards where the girl once stood, but didn't out of nervousness.

[knockoutsapprentice]

She huffs before flickering. Jumping up she examines herself quickly, mumbling. As she flickers again, she becomes slightly see through.

"No, no no no, this isn’t happening, not now!"

He's already at a nearby door. Root quickly works away at the lock with his omnitool, before hearing the girl murmur. He turns his head and squints at her.

"What is it?"

[knockoutsapprentice]

"I doubt we will be able to get out of here. We’re locked in." She’s gonna sit on the hood of the car locked in with us.

[captain-shouty--inactive]

He continues to walk about anyways. "Then I guess it's a good thing my omnitool's not broken yet."

[knockoutsapprentice]

"And just where are you going?"

[captain-shouty--inactive]

"Looking for a way out. One of us has to."

[knockoutsapprentice]

"I doubt there is anything left to check now that we’ve both pretty much scrapped it." Just a sigh.

He ignores the other's statement, and starts to walk about to look for an exit. A good thing he still had his wings.

[knockoutsapprentice]

"Gee, break it more why don’t you! If you wouldn’t have just shaken it to bits, I would have been able to fix it."

Root sighs, folding his arms and pinching the bridge of his nose. "It's alright," he murmurs to himself in an attempt to cool down. "I can just get Foaly to check it."
