[✄] -- Never in her life had she been so embarrassed. Why she agreed to do it was beyond her. She was already reluctant the very moment her class adviser suggested that she should be the one to represent the class in giving the talk at Prava Secondary regarding the 'friendly' competition their schools were having. She wasn't even aware that SOA and Prava Secondary have been competing against each other but when her adviser told her that this talk might be the only way to keep the competitions friendly and that she'd make the perfect representative due to her academic excellence, Kotomi knew she couldn't let the academy down.

But now, as she leaned her back against a tree at Morales Street Park, she recalled how she inevitably ruined the supposed-to-be perfect talk by stuttering a lot, nearly crying and abruptly leaving the stage-- receiving odd and befuddled stares from the students of Prava Secondary. She couldn't do it. She couldn't handle the stares people were giving her. She almost felt as though they were going to attack her all at once.

Cheeks still red from embarrassment and her eyes still glassy with unshed tears, the young girl tried to calm her breathing down as she placed her hand on her chest and took long steady breaths. However, her attempt was futile as soon as her orchid hues met a pair of crimson ones and Kotomi found herself tensing up.

She knew who that guy was. She spotted him at his school's auditorium considering he wasn't easy to miss with all those band aids and bruises on his face. He must be here to taunt her. Bully her. She just knew it. All those bruises were evidence of the gang fights he must have gotten himself involved in. He may be short but that didn't mean he didn't have the strength of a heavyweight champion. 'No no. Please don't come here. Please don't come here.'
