I just got recommended this in Youtube…some additional Damien lore

So he used to write poetry, that explains a lot why he is good at making improv songs, like when a haiku was mentioned he counted the verses…and when Angela mentioned iambic pentameter he acted like he knew it…

What are malachi and damien like during movie night >:3 like, what movies do they pick? Are they afraid of scary movies?

Movie night's over at Malachi's, because Damien doesn't own a tv. Closest he has is a radio that's pretty busted.

They'd squabble a little over what kind of movie to watch, because that's just in their nature, but would most likely end up with a horror or horror/comedy most nights. Movies like The Cabin in the Woods, Tremors etc. Mal lies and says he doesn't get scared, but the way he nestles into Damien's side says plenty.

Maybe sometimes they'd slip in an old western, if Mal's having a bad night. He's real fond of cowboys. But if it was Damien's choice it'd probably be a DC movie or something. He envies superheros, especially the ones that fit well into human society even if they have less than friendly traits.

If brokeback mountain comes on, they’re both sobbing their fucking eyes out. Totally not for mildly repressed gay redneck reasons.

Damien’s...less than clean bedroom. He lives in a rundown house on the outskirts of a country town. The walls are covered in newspapers, movie posters, and band posters to keep the cold out. I imagine it’s usually more cluttered, with clothes on the floor and some general trash like bottles and cans.

He has a bad habit of making quite the mess.

Damien's "man eater" diet doesn't actually require meat itself. His body requires mass amounts of protein, and that usually manifests as pretty intense cravings.

This results in a pretty weird diet that is mostly whole jars of peanut butter and stuff like cheap meat/ gas station jerky. Things like humans and wild animals are. unfortunate casualties, most of the time.

After eating a large meal (like..for example most of an adult human's body) he's usually ready for a nap right away. If forced to stay awake for whatever reason, he's going to be fucking cranky and I don't know if you want a large, hormonal demon to be cranky at you.

Damien fun fact of the day:

He’s a lot more intelligent than you’d think, especially emotionally, he just has a lot of trouble expressing himself in a “proper” way. Due to nature and his unfortunate upbringing, his first reaction tends to be violent or threatening, followed immediately by intense regret and fleeing.

What snacks would your OCs get at a trip to the gas station?

Mercy's getting fruit gummies (preferably sour watermelon)

Damien would get the gnarliest jerky available. Like the kind that's one step off from being dog treats

Malachi is getting one of those little plastic cups of dry cereal. No milk. Just the raw dry cereal

It depends on...what you classify as fun, and what kind of mood he's in. On a lazy day, hanging out would probably just be chilling around a little firepit or lazing around the house. If he's in A Mood you're probably going to wind up chased through the woods by the police and you're going to at least spent the night in jail.

Omfg no, no, no, no, no. He doesn't like strangers and he would feel so threatened he'd probably (attempt to) Kill First Ask Questions Later.

Might be a cool trophy pet tho, if uhhh. Kept away from anything that can be destroyed or killed.

🎆 How seriously do they take holidays? 4

Loves Halloween because it's one of the few times he can feel sort of normal in such a human-heavy town.

Sort of fond of the commercialized not-really-christian christmas. Like plastic trees and tinsel, heavy jackets, sitting quietly together in front of a fireplace. But it feels like of hollow without somebody, and it reminds him of christmas in juvie, so he usually doesn't do much for it.
