3. Do they wear the other’s clothes? (sweatshirt, bandana, necklace, etc.)
Mercy has a liking for Rire's shirts. He has to hide his wings to wear them (because if he tore open the back for his wings, Rire might 'playfully' strangle him to death). But they're the perfect size and comfort for just around-the-house boyfriend clothes. And he might be able to 'talk Rire into' wearing one of his grungy oversized jackets because 'it looks so good on you and you *smell like me* now-' buttttt it's probably not very often
4. Which one is more protective? Who needs to be ‘protected’?
Rire would definitely be the more protective one, in the sense he'd try his best to keep Mercy from getting injured(or injuring himself), and would use his smooth talking to convince Mercy it's a better idea to stay in the nether, with him. Mercy doesn't fully understand how dangerous he is as an angel, and would consider being treated like a locked away prince very romantic and sweet.
But on the other hand, if Mercy thinks you're trying to threaten or *kill* his boyfriend, he'd fly into a fit of panic and rage and kill you through any means possible. Gut you with his claws, rip out your throat with his teeth, bash you over the head with the nearest rock etc. He'd be horrified afterwards, but you were a *threat* and you were going to take *the love of his life* away from him and needed to be destroyed.
Very rarely, Mercy would be capable of actually thinking out your death and take his time. Like if you actually managed to injure Rire, I think he'd dangle you off the tallest building in the sector and talk to you for a little while before letting you drop. He'd be incredibly hostile, but he wants to know why you did what you did, who you know, if there's any sort of plot going on, so he can make sure *nothing* fucks up his 'perfect' life with Rire because he *needs* him.
