i'm like laid up in bed all sick and stuff, and i got this, and i just sat straight up and went "you DICK, lex" to absolutely no one. help.

EVENS.2 - If you write fan fiction, which characters/couples are your favorite to write? If not, for which ones would you consider writing? when i was younger (like 13, A BABY) i would write harry/hermione fanfic in my school notebooks??? lord. also grissom/catherine, in high school. i sort of grew out of writing fanfic when i started writing professionally, purely because writing spec scripts is literally writing fanfic for money. SCREENWRITING, GUYS - FANFIC, BUT FOR MONEY.

4 -  what is the nicest message you've ever received? i actually receive a lot of really nice messages, so picking the 'best' is totally unfair. recently, i got an absolutely lovely one from avery (until-the-next-time) that has stayed with me happily for the last few days. 

6 - do you have a guilty pleasure ship? does sherlock/john count, because that'd be it. lawd. i am beyond help. like, 'read all of performance in a leading role' help.

8 - what pairings do you like most from your other fandoms? so like...ships i enjoy, but don't read stuff for/make things about? uh luther/alice, britta/jeff, barney/robin, liz/food, etc. if it's just not-as-often done stuff, then probably nate/sophie or cal/gillian. i love them, but they get dwarfed by dw or bsg.

10 - is there any couple in one of your fandoms that baffles you? YES. um, off the top of my head: martha/ten? but only because the ten that martha had didn't deserve her, really. martha could do better. and i love the doctor - i do. but martha was amazing, and she deserved someone who saw her for her, and not as a replacement for rose. sherlock/molly is another, just because i don't think sherlock can be what molly needs. he's too closed off and emotionally unavailable, and molly is just so sweet and understanding. he'd break her heart.

12 - do you have any other blogs that you run right now? jen and i run prettybsg, but i can't do anything with it right now because tumblr literally won't let me back in as an admin. and they won't help me, because of missing e. it's gr8. fuck you, tumblr.

14 - favourite song to sing when you're alone? i will sing anything that pops into my head at any given moment. i sang like all of poker face at my step dad today, because he was too lazy to tell me to stop.

16 - what was your favourite movie to watch growing up? i watched the princess diaries non-stop. i watched that, hocus pocus, jurassic park, and independence day until i literally wore the tapes/dvds out.

18 - what is one thing you're looking forward to at the moment? i am REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO BEING ABLE TO BREATHE THROUGH MY NOSE. and for my ears to pop! that'd be swell. in general, though, i'm psyched for for my mum's wedding! ('cause then i get to see jen, what)

20 - what was the hardest thing you've ever had to do? move away to vancouver, probably. my family is very, very close, so one of us leaving is like cleaving off a body part and expecting to live without it. i eventually came back (hey, so moving in a shit economy - not a great idea), but leaving was almost traumatizing. it was amazing, though, and the best experience of my life.

22 - stream of consciousness activity - write one paragraph without stopping or thinking. post whatever you typed. i hate lex yes i do i hate lex HOW ABOUT YOU jk i love lex. also that wasn't a paragraph because paragraphs are too mainstream.

24 - are we governed by fate, or do we choose our own destiny? i fully believe you choose your own destiny. i think putting yourself on a path and working towards a goal are the best things a person can do for themselves, because it nurtures motivation and a stronger sense of self-worth. that's not to say fate is a crap idea, but i think it's relied upon too heavily.
