speaking of simon though, when he’s laying on the floor like that he talks to you and starts sobbing saying something like “we can’t bear the sins of our forefathers forever, it just isn’t fair, it just isn’t fair...” like it reminds me SO much of a christianity thing where humanity is being punished for the sins of our predecessors which brings back to the idea that gherman and maria are stand-ins for adam and eve, and how because of them, every hunter is cursed with eternity in hell and the orphan of kos would be symbolic of christ where he must be killed to release the hold of that the nightmare (aka hell) has on the Hunters trapped in it
