Maybe try and distract him? Tell him crazy stories of things he did. Or even sing one of the songs from Undertale. Take his mind off whatever is bothering him until he calms down

I think distraction makes a lot of sense! Because Error might have trouble articulating what is actually making him so upset, whether angry or depressed, so just distracting him or talking about things he likes (ink tbh) to help him calm down is the best way to do things! 

I like the idea of Ink giving him something physical but not alive to hang on to, as a way of touching without touching. Something distracting in his hands. Comfort, but not anxiety inducing. I don’t know if a plushie will work in the context of this story, but I’ll think of something else of the same nature.

The third request I received for my 100 followers event was from my dearest @damnedxfate who requested chubby skeleton mermaids! I haven’t drawn anything Undertale-related in a very long time, and even when I did, I didn’t do it much, so I hope this looks okay! This one probably took the longest to finish just because I didn’t like how it looked at first, but then I added details like the clothing and scars and then I liked it a lot more! It’s now probably my second favorite out of the whole bunch, haha

Also I hope I did okay on the chubby part, I love heavier bodies but I’m not the best at actually drawing them X0

*slams in and raises her leggy up real high* grats on your follower milestone you sexy beast! Ahem May we have some cherryberry? Blue making poor red try all his new recipes? The nastier the better and poor red eating it while screaming inside just to make blue smile?

i…. dont think i have ever written cherryberry before. as such this is kinda shitty (im sorry) and i highly recommend NOT reading it.

When Blue had asked for suggestions for new recipes, Red knew he wasn’t talking to him. But, surprise surprise, he can’t keep his damn mouth shut, and so he’d shouted across the kitchen for “anything with mustard!” It went mostly ignored aside from a look of disgust from his brother- which was really nothing new- but Blue had groaned and told him that his favored condiment was disgusting. He’d been joking with Stretch all day, back and forth with insults and jabs, and so it was out of habit, purely accidental, that he muttered “can’t be any worse than usual.”

He knew he’d fucked up when Stretch immediately excused himself to the restroom, Fell not even bothering to say goodbye before he walked out of the back door. Blue only smiled, a dangerously tight grin stretching across his face. It was goddamned terrifying.

“Well, if you say so!” The peppy tone somehow only made it scarier.

It had been a few hours of Blue making any recipe that came to mind involving mustard- a mustard cake, a mustard casserole, a fucking mustard taco- the flavors getting worse and worse, harder to stomach and burnt to a crisp. He shuddered, taking another bite of the mustard-themed food that was too burnt to recognize. In the past, he’d eaten literal garbage to survive, but somehow every bite of this was so much worse, especially having to force a grimace and pretending to enjoy it.

Blue was watching him take every bite, the same smile frozen on his face, and with his fork halfway to his mouth he stopped, letting it drop back to the plate, pushing it away and laying his head on the table.

“Babe, I’m so fucking sorry. I can’t do this shit anymore.”

He heard the other take a few steps towards him, felt the press of teeth against the back of his skull.

“Alright, you’ve suffered enough. I forgive you.” Red sighed. He felt like he could cry from relief. “You’re cleaning up the kitchen, though.”

*waddles in holding all her blankets and pillows* nap time? free naps, come get your naps

*Saying the word “nap” is like rustling a bag of chicken McNuggets in the Lamia Bittybones Adoption Center. A very slow, extremely sleepy stampede of Cornies roll, crawl, and teleport lazily out from under the anti-venom fridge and make their way over to you. The flop down, completely limp and allow you to arrange and cuddle them however you like. Their snores sound an awful lot like puns and jokes, and you can swear you can occasionally a “sleeping” Corny wink at you.

*Several Corals are also caught up in the flow of Cornies. Unfortunately, they cannot fight the tide, so they allow themselves to be pushed over to you. In their haste to escape they become hopelessly entangled in your blankets. Their efforts exhaust and they collapse where they lay, conveniently snuggled up against you. They aren’t purring! Those are growls, they insist half-heartedly before falling to sleep with scowls on their faces that relax into smiles. Only because they are sleeping mind you, not because they are actually smiling.
