“I met a woman when I was out West in about eighteen ninety-eight. I was new in town and she was beautiful. I found out though that she was married to the town sheriff when we were in the middle of a very compromising situation. Well, he decided to pull his pistol on me so I had to get out quickly. Didn’t have time to put my pants back on or anything, barely had time to grab my own pistol before I was in the middle of the town square naked as the day I was born with only my pistol to defend myself. It turned out fine, I shot him the foot and made a lasting impression, but damn if I never wanted a repeat.”
