Ok I am going to put my worse fear out there since I am freaking out about it alone and I cant handle it : If the writers are reverting back to the original storyline, caroline was a human in them . what if she feels so guilty when her Humanity is back on about all the horrible things she did that she takes the cure. She then marries Tyler and they have kids and stuff like in the book! What if they dont give Klaus and Caroline a chance . I will die!! I cant handle this stress.

It’s not going to be Caroline. She may be the de facto lead now, but those two cures were introduced for two very specific people and there has been nothing within the show or outside of the show to hint that it’s Caroline. Plus, the audience absolutely adores Caroline as a vampire and they really don’t have a story for human!Caroline anymore. She’d get relegated to the background like Tyler with that kind of a plot twist, and Caroline is too popular to be sidelined at this point. But there are other characters, specifically any one of the main three, that would have a very obvious and actually interesting story line if they became human. I’m like 99% sure that those two cures were introduced with two specific characters in the triangle in mind.
