I’ve seen @dominicvail has had the same reaction to this moment as me. I mean, honestly, wasn’t there a thing in the first season where Callen was worried about what would happen the day when they were too trigger happy? And then now, they’re pew pew pew all the time. Makes for exciting TV maybe, but I’m happy to see them maybe considering taking other directions and making the pew pew pew more exciting by being more sparse.

☆ - happy headcanon

When Teela got her ship, it was one of the happiest days of her life. She’d saved money for a ship for a long time and when she could afford it, she was over the moon. She saw it and knew right away that this one was hers. Having a ship of her own meant freedom, and no matter how much of a piece of scrap metal it was, it was hers and it marked a very positive change in her life!

■ -  Bedroom/house/living quarters headcanon

She lives in said spaceship, and it’s quite a mess. Tools and stolen good everywhere! Teela wouldn’t have it any other way, though. She likes to have everything she regularly uses in sight and she likes it when her space feels lived in.

∇ - old age/aging headcanon

I feel like she doesn’t stop traveling or crime, but she gets herself a home base! She becomes more involved in charity, too, with most of her attention going to anonymously funding orphanages that have a good reputation of treating the kids well.

ൠ - random headcanon

She used to draw on her skin and connect her freckles into constellations when she was a little kid. She always wanted to see them up close - and she does, when she grows up :)

3. What is your favorite childhood memory?

“My... childhood?”

She stops smiling and when she finally continues, she seems to be anxious underneath the carefree attitude.

“Well, you know, probably the first time I got to rob something actually valuable. It was just a passing group of idle tourists or something, I can’t remember. Maybe some posh people from another planet visiting in some official affairs. And this lady had the most gorgeous necklace, all rubies and orange diamonds embedded in gold. No one thought I could do it, but I did, and all the other Rats wouldn’t shut about it for the rest of the night. I felt like the queen of the world, wearing that necklace, all my buddies cheering for me.”

The fond smile that has crept on her face disappears and she scoffs, angrily.

“Of course, that’s all tainted now.”

6. What’s the hardest thing you’ve ever had to do?

She laughs uncomfortably before falling silent.

“God, what is up with these questions? Well, I... guess it’d have to be when... when I had to watch what they did to my friend, back at the orphanage, knowing it’s... it’s my fault she died.”

12. If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be? (on vacation or permanently!)

“Answered this one for your buddy here!”

24. What would you consider your main love language?

“Money.”

She grins before shrugging her shoulders.

“I’m an affectionate woman, so physical touch I suppose. It’s... it’s really nice to hear I’m wanted and needed, too though, so words of affirmation is a very close second.”

3. what movie/game/etc. helps you calm down?

Brooklyn 99 is one, I rewatched it a lot when I was going through some rough stuff. It's so silly and lighthearted, a perfect show to watch when sad or anxious. The Good Place has a similar effect. I wonder if the genre has something to do with it...

8. what color do you think goes best with your personality?

I could go on and on, but blue! Specifically dark blue. Blue is considered to be a calm and even melancholic color, which is very me, but bright neon blue can be really energetic - in a positive way or eye-straining anxiety way. Either way, it fits me I think.

32. do you have any strange interests?

Probably several. I'm not really sure what people would actually think is strange... Does collecting rubber ducks count? My love for stop-motion animation? What is strange to people lol

33. do you have any strange fears?

All I have is strange fears lmao

I'm one hundred and one strange fears in a hoodie.

But in all seriousness... I guess my fear of the roots of fallen trees is weird lol. Blame that on that one 'nature school' teacher who told us weird urban legends about kids getting trapped in them and suffocating...

For context: Teela is my space criminal character from our DW rpg. She's a lone wolf-ish smuggler before she meets the crew.

3. Who is the closest person to them?

Can I say her ship? Because she literally talks to her aaall the time and tells her everything. And I mean she did become a person for that one adventure........

No but more seriously... Either someone from the Tardis Crew or Anastasia (aka her... love interest?? kinda?), depending how things go post-adventures. Very probably Anastasia. I also imagine she does get more social and gets more people she cares about after learning to trust others thanks to the Tardis Crew.

6. Do they have any bad habits?

Oh yeah. She'll steal anything. And she's greedy as hell. Shiny? Give it to her. She's like a damn magpie.

She can also hold grudges like hell. She's gotten better with that but sometimes she just cannot let things go.

She's also a bit of a self-sacrificing idiot. Not for just anyone, but if she cares about the people or feels some sort of responsibility for them, she'll do whatever it takes to take the burden all on herself.

She also complains about stuff a lot. And she's impulsive and emotional... I swear she has good qualities too! This turned out more "bad traits" answer than bad habits buuuut... Oops?

9. How would this character react to someone confessing their love for them?

Depends who it is. Someone she's indifferent about? "Oh. Ok. I mean of course, who can blame you, I'm pretty amazing." She'd probably start to avoid them just to not have to deal with Feelings. She's really flirty but Real Feelings are difficult and messy and she'll rather just go 'no thanks'. Or maybe she'd flirt with them a bit before just fucking off like "sorry I don't love you back bye". Really also depends on which part of her life this happens on. Pre-adventures Teela would be more likely to mess with them, during- or post-adventure Teela would avoid them or awkwardly turn them down.

Someone she dislikes or hates? Either "aw hell no" or she'd use it against them. She can be pretty mean to those who she thinks deserve it and would totally be up for manipulating her enemies' feelings. I can really see her constructing an elaborate ruse just to spite her enemy and steal their stuff.

Someone she cares about, like a friend? Oh boy. She'd be awkward as hell. If she cared about said person, she wouldn't want to hurt them. She'd probably go all "no you were just momentarily charmed by my good looks you'll get over it, please get over it". Alternatively, "ha, you almost got me there, nice prank haha gotta go".

Someone she loves back? She'd straight up cry. She'd probably think it's a joke. And when she realizes it's not? Prepare to be hugged by a tiny weeping space criminal for 30 minutes.

It's really funny because Teela is the flirtiest character I have probably ever had and she's so bad at feelings. Meaningless flings? No problem, she's got one for every day of the week pretty much. Love? Uhhh, little thief does not compute, could you please repeat that? She's got a really loving heart though, if she gets a chance to show it. She gets better about it post-adventuring.

15. What is the best gift they could receive?

Shiny things.

This is really hard. I'm gonna go really cheesy here and say unconditional friendship. She hasn't really had friends or people to depend on in her life so she'd need people around her to show her that they aren't gonna leave her for dead. She's been left to die before so someone simply showing up to help her would mean the world to her.

14. piece of media that left a lasting impact on you?

Hmmm...

I'll say Phantom of the Opera (the musical by ALW), because I truly fell in love with musicals due to it. It's still very, very dear to me.

My first exposure to it was the 25th anniversary recording. I can still remember staring at the TV in wonder when the overture hit after the prologue! It was truly a feeling like no other!

15. any “paranormal” or unexplainable experiences?

Not that I can remember. My grandmother used to say I saw a relative's spirit or something when I was just a little kid, but I'm skeptical. I have no recollection of this either way, nor do I really believe in the paranormal. Firmly in the camp of "don't believe in it, but won't fuck with it just in case".

29. share an adventure you went on?

What counts as an adventure? I'd be inclined to count the visit I had recently to a natural history museum! I went with my friend (and tumblr mutual!) and her partner, we had so much fun!!

We found out a lot of fun facts, like the oldest mammoth bone found in Finland is over 5 million years old! Incredible!

We spent a good six hours in there and didn't even get to hang out as long as we would've wanted since the place closed. Clearly, we gotta go again some time! :D
