👍 I can't think of a reason not to say why. We've been partners for-fucking-ever on my Damon account and you really allowed me to explore parts of Damon that I hadn't otherwise. You're so compatible with almost anyone because your writing is very adaptable. You're extremely accurate with Caroline and play only the best parts of her that make her an outstanding character. TBH I wish you wrote her and not Plec & Dries, because you do her far more justice than they have in a long time.

Okay, what even is your mad science verse thing?

ooc: it’s an au verse i originally created with suitsofarmor that quickly expanded into a group verse. Basically, around 1990, supernatural creatures (vampires, werewolves, witches, hybrids, etc) were discovered by the American government. The public reacted badly, calling for extreme measures to be taken, and eventually the Care and Captivity Act was put into action in 1991 (it’s a shit title i know i couldn’t think of anything better. Basically, the Act says that all known supernaturals are to be found and rounded up, in order to be placed in specialized government facilities. 

Now, in these facilities, the supernaturals are tested on to figure out what they are exactly, and treated in extremely awful conditions. There are other supernaturals in hiding trying to free their brethren, while the majority of the human world continually call for harsher measures to be taken, even going so far as to call for the total massacre of all supernaturals. 

In the facility where the main action takes place, Hayley works as a Psychiatric Assistant, and interacts with a lot of the prisoners. The prisoners include Elijah Mikaelson (who she’s fallen in love with), Damon Salvatore, Bonnie Bennet, Vivianne Lescheres, Katherine Pierce, Elena Gilbert, Allison Argent, and multiple others (who Hayley feels very protective of). Gia and Freya Mikaelson, as well as Niklaus Mikaelson, are working to try and free these people. 

Now, Gia is trying to organize a rescue that involves seducing Hayley (courtesy of cantplaywithoutaheartbeat), while Lenny, Head of Security, wants to organize a full on revolution with Hayley as its figurehead, given her intense emotional connection to Elijah.
