Remember the post I made about a month ago, about thiram and how it can help keep seedlings from damping off?
In that post, I explained what damping off looked like: typically in a circular pattern, caused by a mix of a few different fungal pathogens.
Well, today, I have a picture!
This is a tray of early season cabbage, called Tiara. In this picture, you can see where it's started to damp off, and where we've already pulled plants from it. This came on very suddenly, towards the end of last week, and it's progressed a lot since then. It means an off-the-bat loss of 25%, but we've already seeded a new replacement tray, which will hopefully do better!
