Extreme Ghostbusters premiered on September 1, 1997. After the events of the earlier series (and movies), Egon formed a new team of Ghost Busters made up of students from his "Paranormal 101" class, when a new subway construction unleashed a monster. The Haunting Hour: Don't Think About It (2007)

My rating: 7/10

I mean, it's pretty much what you'd expect from something with R.L. Stine's name on it - there's kids having kid drama, there's some creepy dude with a magical store, there's an Evil Thing that needs defeating - with the advantage of actually featuring some pretty solid child actors, which is not a given. I quite enjoyed this.

Fair warning though: There's bugs, and the Mean Girl (TM) says the R slur at one point because 2007.

THEORY

Dan VS is just a bizarro mirror world counterpart of My Name Is Earl

Both Dan VS and My Name is Earl

focus on a list of sorts that the characters are crossing off

main characters are from a poor background

one of the main character’s spouse’s is actually secretly a secret agent

really funny and mildly surreal occasionally but mostly grounded in reality (one more than the other but still)

was cancelled too soon

It’s just that in Dan VS, Dan has a list of people who have wronged him, and one by one he’s crossing them off his list by getting revenge, and with My Name is Earl, Earl has a list of things he’s done wrong to other people and he’s crossing them off by doing good things.

Crossover story; Earl remembers some guy he fucked over once from California, at the same time as Dan has reached the ‘E’ section of his list. First on the E section? Earl Hickey. CHAOS ENSUES.

Scully began to suspect that the child could somehow be an unknown daughter to her dead sister Melissa. On December 25th, she learned the child was her's and not her sister's.
