Honestly, at first I had no idea what to draw you, which is why it took me a while to actually get to it. It's a good thing that I save outfit and general drawing inspos on my sideblog, because once I saw these three images, I knew what I had to do.
[Image 1] ---- [Images 2 and 3]
I wanted to redeem the drawing from last year because I frankly don't really like it anymore, especially how I drew Trucy and how I overcomplicated it. I'm really happy with the end result this time, this is one of my favorite drawings I've ever done! 🖤🩶🤍
I loved adding all of the little details and drawing all of them together for the first time! Dan's outfit didn't really have an inspo I just came up with it on the spot. :'D
...to be frank, the Noir Murder Mystery part was more of an afterthought, because I HATED how it looked in color, so instead of losing braincells I made it black and white, the outfits fit the theme anyways. This is like, my third drawing with this aesthetic and I just really like it. 。*゚+
Given we've been playing through Sam and Max it just felt really on brand, I couldn't resist fully leaning into it. I don't really have a story for this one, so I'll leave it up for interpretation! :D
I hope you like it, love ya!! (人*´∀`)。*゚+
I've wanted to have all three of my main OCs in the banner for a while, and here it is!
I also took the chance to redesing all three slightly.
Trucy is the one character that has changed the least, I've changed her proportions a bit to try and make it more clear that she is shorter than Elly, as well as moved the bow she has on her back so it's visible even without the transparency.

Also redesinged her boots a bit so the straps look visible without having to let go of the lineless artstyle.

Dan in theory hasn't changed much, I made his tail longuer and more dynamic, leaving scraps behind in replacement of the pevious curved end. But I feel like this one change gives a lot to the character visually as well as allowing to more dynamic posing. (And also if I ever want to have the curved tail again I can just have him do it and then uncurve again.)

Also, while not a new change, I added the redesing feather desing that I made for the Human Dan drawing.

Elly has sufered the most changes (and also my favorites).
For starters, I gave her a completley diferent hairstyle, one that isn't as convoluted as the previous one, while steel keeping the messy look and allowing me to incorporate the, previously picrew exclusive, earings.

Added a more detail to her jacket to really drive home how worn out it trully is. It's her mothers old jacket, her most prized posetion and something she dosen't want to let go of no matter what.
Previously I had only shown this by having some of the buttons be missing, but I felt like the jacket still looked too nice, so I've given it a few holes and stitches here and there to really hammer in the point.
The holes near the end are suposed to be eaten up by moths which is why they look rounder.
And the stitches have the same color as Amelia's/Trucy's dress, which makes sense as Trucy would have yarn of that color around to fix Amelia up. The stitches on Elly's jacket in this image have all been done by Trucy as Elly dosne't acually know how to sew.
Although in the future I want her to learn hand to give her jacket patches, this is begining of the story Elly.

I also made her pants purple instead of blue, because 1) That's her color. 2) I feel like the contrast between the blue jacket and blue pants was too much, even if they where different blues.
