Q!Dan
Dan isn't exactly a real person. He's made of blood but not flesh. He doesn't have real organs, only mimicries to make him look and act like a proper human being. He was made of blood and diamond, crafted into the form of a human. His body acts and feels like real skin. His skin splits when cut yet doesn't bleed. He could grow and change and learn, but he wasn't normal.
The Federation was interested in him. They gave him the chance to be a father. Dan desperately wanted to be a father. He swore he would be back. He wanted to be woken up whenever his little Trumpet woke up. Dan never got the chance. The Federation gave him the chance, then took it away because they were more interested in why he existed.
