Dan Shiffman Tribute Page

Working through freecodecamp.com and was tasked with an assignment to create a tribute page, so I thought, “Who better than Dan Shiffman?”. I’d like to keep working on it and actually make it a portfolio piece. For now, it will do.

This assignment did give me a better handle on how to use CSS, as well as how to embed a basic p5.js sketch on a page using Atul Varma’s p5.js-widget, which works for sketches, as long as they don’t link to classes in other .js files(as far as I can tell).

Dan is hosting a livestream to cover the basics of Processing on Thursday, Dec 10, as part of the Hour of Code movement. Hour of Code reaches out to students to try coding out in celebration of Computer Science Education Week.

The stream begins at 10 AM EST, and we hope to see you there!
