Kenny Rogers has sold more than 165 million albums which is probably why he was on The Big Interview with Dan Rather. When he was asked what makes him cry Kenny replied, “My age. My boys are ten years old and I want to be around to impart some of my mom’s wisdom…In my life that’s the one thing that can really choke me up.” The 75-year-old then went on to say, “They’re like little football players but when they walk in somewhere they’ve never been before they hold hands. At ten years old they’re still their support system and I think there is something so sweet about that.” Hopefully the Gambler will have many more years with his kids.
