hello today i am thinking about how kate could've literally died in every episode she was in (maybe except power of three) and i think while i do love her plot armour, the angstober fics need to be on point.

Kate does something to my creativity that I start with a "yeah this Osgate fic will not get out of hand" and now I'm staring at 10k words of pure smut.

I don't think I ever even mentioned here that I met Jemma did I??? YEAHHHH so I flew to Newcastle for the ComicCon this November and got to meet the most amazing woman this world has seen.

Did not mention Kate with one single word😭😭 Here's me going on and on about Miss Kate Lethbridge-Stewart like I'm getting paid by the amount of times I think or talk about her, blasting my love into the internet without a care for a digital footprint and then...

I turned up there with two bracelets I made for Jill and Jessica, talked about Germany and fainted (mentally) when she said "I will pronounce your name how you want it" and her use of "my love". The way this woman pays attention to what you say is unreal. Did that mean I went on talking and talking because she dropped her pen to look and listen? Yes... but she was just the kindest and patient person ever.

I also had the chance to tell Sacha Dhawan how much I loved him as the Master and about an upcoming movie that he auditioned for. Truly, a wonderful person as well who took his time asking questions.

Yeahhh soo your girl met Jemma.

And I am still standing!! (Not really because I've been sick for a week since Christmas and spent most of my time in bed but yknow)

the end of the year is close by and my brain is spitting out more fic ideas than everrrrr.

What do you mean I still have my lighthouse!keeper Kate with the best visual aid thanks to TWBTLAST? (Literal representation of my version of Kate expierencing happiness? Mhmm, I don’t know you guys... we still have no idea what she is up to... or where she ended up at the end of chapter 1..)

What do you mean me and @bookqueen101 chatted about a Knight!Kate and Princess!Osgood fic this morning that has my brain whirring and could spiral into a multichapter idea?

WHAT DO YOU MEAN that for the first time ever in any fandom, I started an actual wip-list that's not just in my head or scribbled into notes?

But then again: 2025 has been an extraordinary year of writing for me. I started writing in the Ted Lasso fandom and met the most amazing people and wrote a few (and read so much more) of my favourite fanfictions.. the creativity of that fandom! I can't wait for my brain to cling onto season 4 and get my hands back onto them!

Also: the fact that I only dove this much into Jemma's roles through Kate because of an crack edit of Kate Stewart and Trent Crimm on Tiktok that ended in a brillaint crossover written by @bookqueen101 ?

We end the year (until now... I still have 2 days to write) with a total of 52 fanfictions posted on ao3, 250k words written across the Ted Lasso fandom and the multitude of Jemma R. roles, including one finished Tedtrent long(ish) fic, as well as a started Jill Raymond one. How crazy is that!!!

I created my first ever OC and the love my darling Beatrice has gotten in our small community is just.. the best thing a writer could ever expierence because it's not just me giving her life, but @bookqueen101 wrote some amazing fanfictions as well and we've been having such a blast talking about Jill's and Bea's life over Discord.

There is just so much to say, to write but irony strikes and where I found so many fics to write my love for these characters, I lack them to say how much I appreciate every single reader, every comment, every kudos and hit and every person taking their time to reblog, to offer their piece of mind.

I truly appreciate every single person who supported me this year ♡

(And no.. I had no idea that this post would end up this long. I truly only wanted to scream *I HAVE NEW FIC IDEAS* into the void and ended with a love letter to the fanfic-community.

The "I will write something short🤓"-joke apparently goes further than my mindset about fanfiction ideas but then again: I'm a yapper at heart. I just love talking.)
