Yeah the thing happened when I first got my laptop and then it stopped; since then it only happened once like a year later; you learn to get over how much W8 sucks eventually, because there's no fixing it

I think that switch between apps thing goes away when you actually use that feature, but I'm not entirely sure. It will go away eventually, though.
