Prison Break Out CostumeThemeDateNight

Tonight’s going to be a bit different. We won’t have a babysitter to take the boys tonight. That means I can’t go all in on this one. But it doesn’t mean we won’t have some fun! I thought about putting this date night off, but since it is June 9th (aka 6/9 aka #NationalStripteaseDay) I wanted to do something for hubby. The first thing that is out - the alcohol. We don’t drink around the boys. End of discussion. However, I had originally planned a few shots of a drink I found that’s called “Prison Sex”. It’s real simple, add three parts Buttershots, then layer on top 1 part Crown Royal. I’ve not tried it yet.

I have planned meatloaf, mashed potatoes, & mixed veggies for dinner. I figured that was a pretty standard movie prison food. The recipe that hubby likes came from his mom, but I’m sure you can easily find good suggestions out there. :-)

The plan is that I will be taking the boys to the park on a play date w/ some of their friends. I am hoping to tire them OUT. Then we will come home and have a late dinner where afterwards hubby will put them to bed early. As he does so, I slip into the above costume. A friend of mine highly recommended an old prison break movie called “Escape from New York”. It’s supposed to be a cheesy 80′s action movie that hubby will enjoy. I got it from the library and it looks like a bad 80′s movie. Guess we’ll find out tonight!

If the movie is as bad as I have heard, then the after-show is sure to cheer him up. Since it is #NationalStripteaseDay, I will put on a show for him. ;-) #DanceOfMahanaim

There are several parts to this weeks #CostumeThemedDateNight that I am excited about. Overall though, it’s still less setup & time than the Pirates date night!

1 The Costume

A local costume shop had a clearance sale. This was the only thing that mildly had my attention. The shorts don’t fit right on me & I prefer a miniskirt anyway. Fortunately I had one that matches pretty closely! I didn’t have matching boots, but I DO have some black heels that will do nicely. Thus, the idea for this weeks activity was born.

2 The Setup

I found this great idea on Pinterest for giving a love note parking ticket. I found dozens of them & narrowed them down to two. To me, these look like parking tickets.

I decided on the Temptation Ticket because I liked the option “source of steamy desires” as it gave me ideas for being a #VisuallyGenerousWife but I would probably use Parking Ticket to Love next time as the options are more generic. The Temptation Ticket seems more like something a husband would give a wife versus a wife giving one to the husband.

I printed it off on yellow piece of paper so it looks like a parking ticket. The plan is to sneak it out onto his car before he leaves for work.

I chose the option that would set the mood for the night. The ticket specifies that the night will have a movie, costume/lingerie, seductive dancing, and “Oral Delights” [which could be the food.. Or me.. Or him.. Or all of the above.. :-D ].

3 The Food & Drinks

Main course food: Bacon Donut Cheeseburger. I didn’t include a recipe as burgers are easy enough to find & customize. My family has a preferred taste that I know which makes it easy for me. Adding bacon & using donuts as buns is easy enough. Hubby likes a particular glazed donut from a local shop. I’ll pick up a few fresh in the morning. They tend to be rather thin so I am just using two donuts as the buns. If I had a thick donut, I would cut it in half like most places do.

4 The Movie

I’m usually not into the buddy-cop movies so I needed a movie that I wouldn’t loath but hubby would like. I decided on a comedy buddy-cop movie “21 Jump Street”. We will find out how good of a choice that is.. Any buddy cop movie could do well though.

5 The Dance

After the movie I have a Cop Car shots. Originally I was going to make him do shots along with the dance, but I don’t want him wasted – just relaxed & happy. As such, we are just going to do one each. I will bring them out as I start the music.

I was able to find a “clean” version of Lil Wayne’s Mrs Officer. It’s just under 4 minutes so I put together a routine for a sexy #DanceOfMahanaim. During the appropriate part of the song, I’m going to cuff his hands behind the chair.

I planning to end the dance in the “Bad Santa” position because I really want to play a round of #Unfettered. What better time to tease hubby mercilessly w/ breasts than when he’s in hand cuffs & I’m sitting in his lap after a sexy dance? Right? I’m getting so excited! I’ve gotta blog about my plans because I feel like I’m going to burst if I don’t tell someone & I can’t tell hubby yet as it is a surprise. Duh. :-)

Neither hubby nor I care about football & haven't watched super bowl in years. But this year I am planning a surprise party. He knows I want to watch the game, but he doesn’t know the details yet as to why.

Here’s the plan.

1. Hubby is supposed to take the kids over to a friends place & be back just before kick off. I’ve done almost all the prep work, so I should be able to get all the final preparations done while he is gone. 2. I got the pictured costume on sale! When he gets back I will be dressed & ready w/ my 4″ black heels to greet him. [Yeah, I know. It isn’t a #miniskirt. Trust me, I looked but never found a good miniskirt costume I liked. I think this will get him revved up anyway. And no. I really don’t care if it doesn’t match the colors of either team. It’s probably why this color was so much cheaper than the rest. :-D ]

3. I’ve got a collection of drinks and snacks, chips/dip, & store-bought sweets [I didn’t have time to make cookies like I wanted to :-( ]

4. From snack-girl.com I am using the following recipe for sliders: 1 pound ground turkey [I’m using beef] 3/4 cup chopped scallions 3/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro leaves 2 1/2 teaspoons orange zest 2 1/2 teaspoons curry powder 1 teaspoon kosher salt 4 limes cut into quarters Place all of the ingredients (except the lime) in a small mixing bowl and, using your hands, gently mix until everything is evenly incorporated.   Form into a patty and make a small indentation about the size of a dime in the middle of each side; handle as little as possible: do mot work more than necessary.Place a cast iron skillet over high heat and when it is hot but not smoking, add the burger to the dry pan.  Cook until well seared on both sides, about 5 minutes.  Garnish with the lime quarter.

5. From bodybuilding.com I am using the following recipe for wings. 2 lbs Chicken Wings and Drumsticks 1/4 cup Brown Sugar 1/2 tbsp each of: Paprika, Cayenne Pepper, Chili Powder, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder Rinse and pat dry chicken, then trim off visible fat.  Place chicken in a large pot. Fill pot with cold water until chicken is covered by two inches. Bring water to a boil and boil for 10 minutes.  While chicken is boiling, put remaining ingredients in a large Ziploc bag and shake to mix.  Set broiler to high with the rack about 6 inches from the flame.  Once chicken is done, remove from water and add to Ziploc bag.    Shake until all wings are fully covered with marinade.  Place chicken on a baking sheet and broil for 6 minutes on each side until skin starts to crisp.

6. Game time! How long can I tease him? Can I keep his eyes on me more than the TV? I'm going to love finding out. :-) I’ve got a list of “excuses” for why I have to get up, move around, & pick things up off the floor. Oh, this is going to be so much fun! 7. Half time show. I’m performing a #DanceOfMahanaim [AKA. A sexy striptease for the spouse as performed in the Bible. Song of Songs Style!]. The first song is real peppy & upbeat to Beastie Boys - “Girls”. The second is real slow & sultry to Selena Gomez - “Good For You” [the version without the weird rap thing in the middle that ruins the song].

8. If all goes to plan, we will have no desire to finish the game. ;-) Eeeeeee! Just a few more hours!!
