Ohhh the memory of this last event was a great one, @fultonarts Dance Week 2019 Closing RECEPTION, “HONORS INNOVATION” held at the @thefoxtheatre . The director of Dance Week, @lyrriccosbyjackson really created an inclusion line up of various events for the entire week like no other. In my opinion, she made Dance Week history here in Georgia. Each engagement was amazing! So on this day we closed the event by honoring stage, film and dance legend, @iamjasmineguy , and dance innovator, @jueldlane . This event brought together art mobilizers and dance practitioners to celebrate two visionaries from Fulton County that are changing the intersection of dance and artistic expression. Check out these memories and hopefully next year we all will be here to connect, hug, and dance together again in the same space for Dance Week 2121. @fultonarts Dance Week 2019 was totally a week for all to enjoy. On this day the lovely ladies of @giwayenmata presented a performance and workshop for Seniors at the South Fulton Arts Center. Seniors were bussed in from local nursing homes. They engaged in West African movements directly from their chairs and wheelchairs. On this day, @terminusmbt (Terminus Modern Ballet Theatre) offered a Beginner Adult Ballet Class for adult ages 18 and up with little to no previous dance experience.
