Oh my god I’m looking for train track sound effects for the piece I’m choreographing for our student show and I was looking for such a specific sound and it turns out it’s the sound the train makes when it’s switching tracks and that plays into my concept SO fucking well I feel like it was meant to be and I don’t know if the composers for Indecent meant for the final repetitive phrase at the very end of Attic Rain to sound exactly the same way I hear track switches echo across town in the middle of the night (it’s entirely possible that the train mimicry was intentional given the scene that it transitions into) but when I heard that and got the image of the train it literally helped me clarify my entire structure and storyline and I am unbelievably grateful and also even though I’ve spent hours listening to the song at this point it still makes my heart full every time I listen to it
