headcanon: Nick the lobster

Part of George's revitalization of the Claw is an ill-advised rental of a full-body lobster mascot costume. She claims she's too busy running the restaurant to wear it but insists that Nick wear it and stand at the end of the parking lot to attract passing cars with a large "It's Always Summer At The Claw" sign.

At first, Nick hates the idea and grumbles about it under his breath, but she is too hardheaded and bullies him into putting it on, unceremoniously ushering him out the door and closing it behind him. He trudges across the parking lot and shyly waves the sign as people drive by. Ace takes pity on him and brings out a boombox and puts it on the asphalt next to Nick, turning on AC/DC so loud that Nick can hear it through the bright red lobster head. Nick starts to realize that no one knows who's inside the costume since every part of him is covered and starts to enjoy the beat of the music.

30 minutes later, George goes out to check on Nick and finds him dancing vigorously, cars honking as they pass as he waves and flips the sign around, doing a terrible moonwalk and shaking his ass. She laughs so hard that tears run down her face before she remembers she has her phone in her pocket and starts recording it to show at their wedding reception.
